Drinking water is by far one of the best things you can do for your overall health to keep your locs moisturized. Drinking water helps keep hair and skin hydrated from within. Hair is made up of 5% water and 95% protein. In addition to keeping locs quenched water also helps increase hair growth.
I know we love swimming, hanging out, get too busy and end up neglecting our locs.
I created a spritz to add moisture to your locs to keep them growing so they won't dry out or break off. Here is the recipe, leave a comment below and let me know how it worked for your locs.
Summer Leave-in Spritz
What You Need:
3 oz Ionized Water(ph balanced or Spring Water)
½ oz Juju Hair Oil (sold at the salon)
1 oz Vegetable Glycerin
1 1/2 oz Aloe Vera Gel
4 0z plastic spray bottle
Add water first then add rest of ingredients into a 4 oz plastic spray bottle, shake well.
Spray spritz on before you twist or style your locs/natural hair. Take it with you on the go or traveling when your locs need to be moisturized. Enjoy! Take care of your locs this summer!
